From a Single Warehouse to Utah's Go-To Insulation Source

KIC Services was founded in 2009 in Salt Lake City by a team of construction industry veterans who saw a gap in the market: Utah contractors needed a local insulation supplier who understood the industry, stocked the right products, and actually showed up when it mattered.

We started small — a single warehouse, a handful of product lines, and a relentless focus on service. Word spread quickly. Contractors who tried KIC came back, and brought their colleagues with them.

Today, KIC Services stocks 500+ insulation products and serves over 1,200 contractor accounts across Utah. We've grown, but our approach hasn't changed: know your products, know your customers, and never let them down.

2009

KIC Services Founded

Opened our first Salt Lake City warehouse with 80 SKUs and a team of 5. Focused exclusively on serving Utah's residential contractors.

2012

Expanded Product Lines

Added spray foam and mineral wool product categories, tripling our SKU count and entering the commercial and multi-family market segments.

2015

Warehouse Expansion

Relocated to our current 45,000 sq ft facility on Redwood Depot Lane, allowing us to maintain 500+ products in stock and support same-day fulfillment.

2019

500th Contractor Account

Reached the milestone of 500 active contractor accounts, cementing our position as Utah's leading independent insulation distributor.

2022

Launched Online Account Portal

Built and launched our B2B account portal giving contractors 24/7 access to contract pricing, order history, and real-time inventory.
